Lifeways team crowned National Winners at the Great British Care Awards
Lifeways is celebrating a major national achievement after the Woodbury View, Worcester team was crowned National Winner of ‘The Home Care Team Award’ at the prestigious Great British Care Awards this weekend.
The award recognises a care team that exemplifies shared vision, strong leadership, exceptional teamwork and person centred support.
Having secured the regional title earlier in the year, the team went on to compete against 11 other leading providers at the national finals. To emerge as national champions from a shortlist of 12 is an outstanding accomplishment and a testament to the team’s unwavering commitment, compassion, and professionalism.
The ceremony, hosted by television presenter Ben Shephard, brought together the very best in social care from across the UK.
Why Woodbury View Stood Out
The Home Care Team Award honours teams who demonstrate open communication, mutual trust, strong morale, and a deep commitment to dignity, privacy and person centred care. Judges praised Woodbury View for embodying all aspects of this and explained that the Lifeways team stood out as clear national winners because of their deeply person centred, compassionate and adaptable approach to care.

Receiving the award on behalf of Woodbury View were Nicola Driscoll (Acting Area Manager) and Gemma Scott (Acting Registered Manager).
