Loch Park's Community Folk Festival Raises Money for Charity

On a glorious day in May we celebrated Loch Park’s community folk festival which raises awareness and money for local charities. We had performances from Bedhead, RockSet Community Choir, singer Tommy Twigg and the Dreamtime Makaton choir. Some of the people we support also took to the stage!

We raised £2000 for local charities through stalls, raffles and donations from our local businesses.

So far we have donated:

£1000 to Get Ahead Charitable Trust for cancer research

£300 to Jackson Waddlle for his intensive physiotherapy after his operation for cerebral palsy

£100 to Keith and Dufftown Railway

£300 to CLAN Cancer Support

£300 to RRRRallye Road Safety.

It was a wonderful day with our local community, the people we support and staff, with music, food, fun and we finished the day with a wonderful firework display!

Thank you to all the people we support, our fantastic staff and the local community for making the event such a success!
