New specialist support service coming soon to Tipton
Lifeways’ new specialist supported living service, Savery Gardens is set to open in September providing support and accommodation for vulnerable adults with a range of disabilities.
Comprising of 18 self-contained apartments with lift access over three floors, as well as two bungalows for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and autism, the development will provide tenants with their own personal accommodation to meet their individual preferences, needs and requirements. As with all new Lifeways developments, each apartment comes with assistive technology built in as standard, modern white goods and integrated appliances.
Located in a quiet residential area in the heart of Tipton, Savery Gardens is in an ideal location for accessing the local community and is close to local shops, amenities and transport links.
With a highly skilled staff team available 24/7 to provide truly tailored support, people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and autism will be able to live in their own home, follow their personal goals, learn new skills and take positive steps in a safe environment. The team at Savery Gardens will work closely with health and social care professionals in the area to support people to achieve independence and live fulfilling lives.
Ros Creamer, Community Engagement & Development Manager, said “We are excited to be opening Savery Gardens and providing support and accommodation for vulnerable adults in this area. The apartment schemes will provide an ideal mix of independent living, with people able to live safe and secure behind their own front door, whilst having staff on site which will enable them to benefit from social community living.”
