World Autism Awareness Week 2020

This week is World Autism Awareness Week

Across the UK there are 700,000 autistic adults and children for who socialising and communicating can be difficult due to this lifelong disability and within Lifeways we support many individuals with this diagnosis who are all unique in how this impacts upon their lives.

Here at Lifeways our teams are skilled and trained in supporting people with Autism and we greatly value engaging with and learning from the people we support about how we can best support them to live their ‘best life’.

During this time of great change to our daily lives, routines and increased lack of certainty the people we support who have Autism are doubly challenged. Our teams continued support, empathy and skill is vital in providing assurance and ways of managing these changes.
