The team at Abbeymoor

A residential care service supporting people with Neurological conditions to live their final years to the fullest in Newcastle has been transformed following a major £700,000 refurbishment by Lifeways.

The unveiling marks the culmination of months of hard work by Lifeways' Property Team and comes shortly after Abbeymoor received an 'Outstanding' rating for its caring approach from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The CQC report highlighted the positive experiences of people supported at Abbeymoor, with inspectors noting that residents felt safe, well cared for and supported by staff who understood their individual needs and treated them with kindness, dignity and respect.

The service maintained its overall 'Good' rating, with 'Good' ratings also retained across the areas of safe, effective, responsive and well-led care. Abbeymoor
