avon place

Avon Place, a custom-built Lifeways supported living service that will be home to six adults, has opened in the town of Studley, Warwickshire.

The supported living service supports adults who live with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex and diverse needs. Avon Place’s support team are at the service 24/7.

Spread over two floors, Avon Place is made up of six self-contained one-bedroom apartments – and was built from the ground-up to support people who will live there.

Each apartment is equipped with a large open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room, and a bathroom. So that people can socialise, Avon Place also has a private, enclosed garden with a patio.

The service, which is run by Lifeways, was commissioned by Warwickshire County Council, in conjunction with specialist property developers HomeLife.

Best of both worlds

“As Avon Place opens, it will be great to see people have the best of both worlds: independence, coupled with support when needed or desired,” said Ros Creamer, Lifeways’ Community Engagement and Development Manager for the West Midlands.

“We’re so proud to be providing extraordinary support to individuals in Studley and look forward to engaging with the local community.”
