Lifeways has been shortlisted as Specialist Care Provider of the Year in the National Care Awards 2024 – one of Britain’s biggest celebrations of health and social care workers.

It is the first time Lifeways has been shortlisted in this category and reflects the organisation’s ambition to become the sector’s Provider of Choice.

It is the fourth award shortlisting for Lifeways in two weeks after also securing a hat-trick of nominations in the LaingBuisson Awards 2024 for Excellence in Specialist Care, Excellence in Supported Living and the Public Private Partnership category.

Andrea Kinkade, Chief Executive of Lifeways, said: “Seeing us shortlisted for another prestigious award is fantastic. I think it shows how much we’ve transformed over the last 12 to 18 months as an organisation.

“More importantly, it is amazing recognition for the exceptional people delivering exceptional work which is helping the people we support thrive independently.”

The National Care Awards will be held at the Platinum Suite in London on November 29, 2024.

Lifeways is the UK’s largest team of professionals providing support for adults in the community.

It works with adults with diverse and complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and mental health conditions.

Lifeways delivers exceptional support across three divisions: supported living, residential and mental health services, with around 11,000 team members supporting more than 4,000 people across England, Scotland, and Wales.
