Lifeways celebrates Data Driven Care Award win at inaugural Digital Excellence in Care Awards
Lifeways has won the Data Driven Care Award at the inaugural Digital Excellence in Care Awards, run by Nourish.
The UK’s largest provider of support for people with complex needs in the community, Lifeways was delighted to be recognised at the awards on September 8 for its innovative use of data and artificial intelligence.
The award celebrates the implementation of its AI Support Plan Quality Checker, developed through its ‘Insights through Data’ programme, and the dedication of the teams involved in driving innovation across the organisation.
Andy Ferrington, Chief Information Officer at Lifeways, said: "We are incredibly proud to receive the Data Driven Care Award from Nourish. This recognition reflects the commitment of our Quality, Operations, Data and Technology teams who have worked together to harness the power of data and AI to improve care quality at scale.
“Our goal has always been simple: to give our teams better insights so they can focus on delivering the best possible outcomes for the people we support. This award is fantastic recognition of that journey."
By using data effectively, alongside APIs and integrations that connect Lifeways’ digital systems, the tool is helping teams across the country strengthen person-centred care and improve outcomes for the people they support.
Designed to support, rather than replace, professional judgement, the solution helps managers identify opportunities for improvement across support plans at scale, while improving consistency and strengthening regulatory readiness.
Lifeways was also shortlisted for the API Trailblazer Award, highlighting its wider commitment to using digital innovation to improve care and support.
Winners were independently chosen by the DEC Steering Group, bringing together care providers, sector representatives and digital leaders, and were announced at the Nourish Partner Programme Conference at the Waldorf Hilton in London on September 8.
