Lifeways recognised for tech innovation at National Care Awards 2025

Lifeways has been shortlisted in the Tech Innovation of the Year category at the National Care Awards 2025.
This latest national recognition comes for our rollout of Nourish, an electronic care management system that’s transforming the way we deliver and record support across Lifeways.
Lifeways, the UK’s biggest team of professionals supporting people with complex needs in the community, introduced Nourish in 2023 as part of a major investment in new digital systems to replace paper-based care plans with an easy-to-use digital platform.
Since launching with 12 pilot services in November 2023, the rollout rapidly scaled and is now live across the entire business with 7,000 team members using it to support around 4,000 people.
How we use Nourish at Lifeways
Amanda Brooke, Chief Transformation Officer at Lifeways, said: “Nourish has been a game-changer for us. It has made it easier than ever before for the people we support to actively and directly participate in their care planning.
“It has also enabled our team members to record care notes in seconds, giving managers instant visibility and freeing up time for colleagues to focus on what matters most – the people we support.
“To be shortlisted for a National Care Award for the rollout of Nourish is a wonderful reflection on how the entire organisation pulled together to embrace this change and help Lifeways deliver higher standards of care and support.”
The winners will be revealed at a special ceremony in London on 7 November 2025.
