New supported living service opens in Tipton
We are excited to announce the opening of Savery Gardens, a brand new service comprising of 18 self-contained apartments with lift access over three floors, as well as two bungalows for adults.
The service will be providing high-quality accommodation with full 24-hour support on-site from Lifeways. The apartments and bungalows are designed for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and autism and will provide tenants with their own personal accommodation to meet their individual preferences, needs and requirements.
Located in the heart of the community, Savery Gardens is in a quiet residential area just 10 minutes away from the centre of Dudley, where shops and a range of local amenities are available. As with all Lifeways homes, each apartment is fitted with assistive technology as standard, modern white goods and integrated appliances.
With a highly trained staff team embracing a person-centred support philosophy and providing specialist support, the team at Savery Gardens will work closely with health and social care professionals in the area to support people to reach their personal goals and be able to live in their own home as independently as possible while receiving the right level of support.
Ros Creamer, Community Engagement & Development Manager, said “We are delighted to have opened Savery Gardens and providing supported living and accommodation for vulnerable adults in this area. The right specialist supported housing can make a huge difference to adults with disabilities. Having their own home, along with onsite care means the tenants are able to live more independently and integrate into their local community.”
