Work begins on new supported living scheme in Halifax
We are delighted to announce that construction work has officially started on a new specialist supported housing development in Halifax.
Heathy House is a partnership project with Living+, part of Places for People, and will be a purpose-built £3.5 million facility consisting of both supported living and complex care apartments. The scheme has been designed to provide contemporary and personalised apartments complete with assistive technology, spacious communal areas and 24/7 on-site support.
The scheme will enable people with autism, learning disabilities and other complex care needs to live independently, develop their life skills and enjoy being at the heart of the community.
Jemima Taylor, Group Development Director at Lifeways, said,
“Heathy House is an exciting development which will provide much needed community-based support for vulnerable adults in the Halifax and Calderdale areas. Lifeways is committed to providing the latest specialist supported housing for adults with a range of needs, and Heathy House will offer accessible, contemporary accommodation alongside personalised support for every individual living there.”
Heathy House is due to open in Autumn 2018. If you are interested in finding out more about this development, please contact [email protected]
