You’re Not Just Anyone - Lifeways launches its biggest-ever recruitment drive

Lifeways has launched its biggest-ever recruitment campaign - You’re Not Just Anyone - to help attract a new generation of care-driven people into social care. 

The campaign shines a light on the incredible work of our frontline teams who support more than 4,000 people across the UK to live independent, fulfilling lives. 

At its heart is a powerful short film that captures the extraordinary impact of our teams and the people we support. The film stars Jessie and Caroline, two brilliant people we support, and celebrates the extraordinary compassion and empathy that makes a difference in the lives of others every single day. 

The campaign responds to the challenges facing the social care sector, from overseas recruitment and competitive job markets to the ongoing pressures on pay and conditions.  

By reaching into every corner of the UK, You’re Not Just Anyone is designed to inspire people from all walks of life to consider a career in care - even if they’ve never thought about it before. 

We’ll be particularly encouraging applications from: 

• Career changers looking for work with purpose 

• Restless retirees seeking to make an impact 

• Military veterans with transferable skills 

• Hospitality leavers ready for a new challenge 

• NEETs (young people not in education, employment or training) 

• People returning to work after a break
