Lifeways shortlisted for two major transformation awards
Lifeways has been shortlisted for two Management Today Transformation Awards in recognition of the company’s digital revolution over the last 18 months
The organisation, the UK’s largest provider of support for people with complex needs in the community, is a finalist in the Best Use of Technology in Transformation and Best Use of People-Led Transformation categories.
Both nominations celebrate how Lifeways has embraced technology to transform and improve the method and quality of care for the 4,000 people it supports.
In the technology category, Lifeways was shortlisted for its introduction of Nourish, a digital care management system, and Deputy, an e-rostering tool, which together have simplified administration, improved visibility, and given team members greater control of their work.
Supported by stronger technical infrastructure and new communication tools, these changes are better connecting teams, reducing paperwork, and freeing people to focus on what matters most - delivering great support.
In the people-led transformation category, Lifeways enhanced trust and engagement throughout the company by working with more than 550 managers and leaders to co-create our CHOICE values, shaping how change happens and ensuring every improvement reflects real experience.
With clearer roles, better governance, and enhanced HR support, Lifeways has seen tangible results with employee retention up to 73%, engagement at 74%, agency use down to 2.4%, and compliance rising to 91.9%.
Andrea Kinkade, Chief Executive at Lifeways, said: “I’m so proud to see the hard work, energy and innovation of our teams recognised in the Management Today Transformation Awards.
“Since I joined Lifeways in 2022, we have invested around £15 million in our transformation journey which aims to improve everything we do and how we do it.
“It has been a significant team effort across the organisation and recognition like this is fully deserved. I wish our teams and all the other finalists the very best of luck.”
The winners will be announced on 25th November 2025. For more information on the shortlist, visit: 2025 Shortlist - Managementtoday Transformation Awards.
