Lifeways celebrates National Picnic Day across the UK
Lifeways services across the country headed to their gardens and local parks to bask in the sunshine and celebrate National Picnic Day.
With clear skies overhead, team members and the people they support spent time relaxing on picnic blankets, sharing food and enjoying each other’s company in the fresh air on Thursday (April 23).
In Lincoln, multiple Supported Living services from across Lincolnshire met up at Hartsholme Park for lunch and a walk around the lake, enjoying a bit of squirrel spotting along the way, before finishing with a well-earned ice cream.
Natasha Stanton, Registered Manager of Lifeways’ The Courtyard service, added: “It was a real pleasure organising today’s picnic and walk around Hartsholme Park.
“The weather was absolutely magnificent, and everyone in our group had a fantastic time. We can’t wait to do it all again next year.”
